celiac...
Just returned from Pittsburgh's Children's Hospital where my son's visit went well, for the most part. The normal things that he goes through during his appointment all went well. His Hbac1 # was 7.9. The clinical average for children his age is 8.0. The lower the number, the better. The bad news is that he grew two inches and lost two pounds. He is now being tested for celiac. We won't have any results until newt week. I have read much about this disease and we are truly hoping that he doesn't have it. the only other symptom that my son has experineced is unexplained stomach pain. Damn!
