Mathematical problems

Apologies for recent quiet; life is insufficiently interesting to tell everyone about. Went to England. Bought a kilt.

So, an entirely unrelated question. I've heard countless people tell me that they're "not a maths person" or that "maths is too hard". That can't all be down to bad maths teachers - can it? So, I was wondering - what is it that makes maths difficult for you (assuming you're not lucky enough to be a "maths person", whatever that is)? What do you find difficult, mathematically? What would you like to be able to do?

I'd appreciate any feedback.
