Two things
I'm supposed to be reviewing a paper - my first one. All I've done so far is check that I can solve the differential equation they can. The two things about reviewing appear to be:
1) Be as nice as possible, in case they figure out who you are and have to referee one of your papers in the future
2) Be sure to make them change SOMETHING or else they'll be insufferably smug.
