I just ran three miles, and feel a great deal better for it. (I made an iPod playlist consisting of songs about 4 minutes long (for running) alternating with songs of one minute (for walking/recovery). I am tempted by a charridy 5km on Saturday, even though it'll be on the back of (counts) four days' training.

I felt sorry for myself for most of the day, suffering from bugs both physical and programmatical. Then I decided that the clever graph theory part of mycode wasn't clever enough, and started to deconstruct the whole thing, first on the whiteboard, then on notecards. It will (hopefully) constitute a complete (and unique!) solution to the Minimal Separator Set problem. And will be easy to write up, with any luck.

I'm also now committed to being Sociable tomorrow evening, as there is the Bozeman NaNo kickoff party and I've agreed to give lifts to people. Apparently, we're going to destroy Saskatchewan.

running, work, nano
