"When it's warm, it's easy to forget the winter"
Alice is over. We all woke up. It's been an awesome experience. First off, working on a show from when there's only the first draft of a script all the way through has been kind of mind blowing. Secondly, seeing these people involved who've never done theater before becoming excited and learning about the traditions and craft behind it was actually kind of moving. Thirdly, performing for the last week with a more than sold out crowd each night was unbelievable. We had the chancellor of the university, both the city and borough mayors, and so many other bigwigs there who responded positively. Fearless theatre- 1; Local conservatives- 0.
Man, I'm so tired. Stayed up until six AM, woke up at 11 to finish strike. Ate a nice breakfast at The Bakery. Now today is just catch up on being alive. Maybe a walk through creamer's field. A nice long shower? Or start research for the next play or various burlesque routines I might be involved in. I guess life is good.
