Let Me Find Out We're Drifting...

Family is family...

And my family is wild. And crazy. Much like the families you see on television, actually. I like to think we're the Weasleys. But that's just my imagination. Half All of my family could care less about Harry Potter. So yeah... Lol.

My family likes to joke me because it's very rare to see me without a book. In just the last 3 days, I've bought five books and I'm done with two with 45 pages left on my third. I love reading. I just can't help it. But can I be honest for a minute?

Only an... eighth, maybe? of my family went/goes to college. And possibly two-thirds graduated from high school. I'm one of the ones who broke the cycle. I'll be starting classes in June. I want to be and Englush Lit major and eventually a high school english teacher. That way I can coach basketball. It'll be a combination of the two things that I'm most passionate about [basketball and literature].

Look at me getting all off topic...

Anywho... My family is wild, rowdy, crazy, yet fun. They curse, they shout, they fight, they... ahem, we chill. Or at least, we used to. Now, gatherings are getting slimmer. People are making excuses as to why they can't make Sunday dinner getting busier. And everyone just seems isolated to their own households.

Our house was is, I guess you could call it, headquaters. This where all dinners and major holidays are held. Me, Gina, and Lulu [the adults of said home] do majority of the cooking while everyone comes and eats. There's at least three children to every family that attends our family gatherings, so of course, children are running EVERYWHERE. Extremely annoying I love it. *cough*

But the point is... Everyone seems to be doing their own thing now. So I feel like I want to do my own thing as well...

So the decision has been made.

I'm getting 3 jobs and moving out...

Lol. I had to laugh. Sounds incredibly unbelievable, right? Well I'll show YOU. *evil laugh*

[I know this was the most scattered, pointless entry ever, and I'm sorry. But sometimes that's just how my brain works. Sorry. :)]

leaving the nest, family, harry potter
