D'oh!

I didn't get a spot in the prosecution clinic. As people with way lower marks than myself did, I can only guess that I got passed over because I already had one clinic under my belt. I understand this rationale and agree with it (better one for everybody than two for some), but it still kinda sucks.

I had done a lot of planning based on spending my last semester working my ass off in the prosecution clinic. Alas, plans will have to change as they often do.

There are some perks to this. For one, I won't have the insane "I'm an attorney AND a law student" work load in my semester before taking the bar. Also, I'll have the benefit of taking a few classes I had previously wanted to take, but could not because of the amount of time the clinic was going to take up.

I suppose I could be more upset about this, but if you haven't learned how to react quickly and gracefully to changes in the landscape by 3L, you did something wrong.

In the cosmic scheme, plans remain the same: work hard, do good, be honest, give and receive love, and keep being a nerd. All the other stuff is really superfluous.
