I'm still alive...
Yes, I'm still alive and well. I hardly post anything here at LJ. I spend most of my time at Deviantart.com.
At one time I would come here alot for the Dreaming of Red community and I would post alot in my own journal. When Dreaming of Red closed, there was nothing for me to hang around except reading other people's journals. I'm still keeping my LJ as long as possible. Who knows, maybe I might use this a website of sorts but it's not the same as the ones I had. I hate Yahoo for deciding to close the Geocities websites, both free and paid accounts later this year. So I took all my hard work down in my Sanosuke x Kenshin website and my regular Rurouni Kenshin website and just left with the main pages with apologies in case anyone ever stumbles upon them. Someone told me Yahoo might close them at the end of summer. If that is the case, I'll take both of my main pages down before they do. There are alot of Rurouni Kenshin fan sites will be gone forever. *cries* I have emailed to said sites (mostly Sano x Ken) to let them know and I have some response back. A few came back undelievered. That's a shame because there are wonderful MIDIs out there and fanfics and so on. The main Kenshin x Kaoru site ran by Gypsy-chan is gone. I hope she will put it up again at another website. I have a few favorites in there. I ignore Kaoru as much as I can. ^^; I live for her Kenshin and son, Kenji fics. They were adorable!
Right now I'm in the process of hunting for new homes for my SanoKen and regular sites. I found one it may be the one and there is another I'm still thinking. I just wish Rurouni Kenshin is still on air. *cries* I miss watching that show. I have tons of memories of watching them and meeting people online. I've been saving all SanoKen fics I can from Geocities, fanfiction.net, mediaminer.org and etc. before they disappeared. I have a few favorites are long gone now and I miss them very, very much. I'm sorry I never thought of saving them years ago. I don't know how many fics I've saved so far......must be in the 100s. ^^;;; Thank gods for flash drives!!! They hold alot of information!! I wish I had them those years ago! They sure beat the hard floppies!!
I will always love Sanosuke x Kenshin and Kenshin x Sanosuke pairing as long as I live. I will die as a Rurouni Kenshin fan. That show means alot to me. I would have love if they make a remake of the series and follow closely as possible to the manga, and also make sure the drawing style is the same all the way through the series. It would be great to see the real Jinchuu arc. I don't see why not when someone's remaking the Full Metal Achemist right now.
