Since being a VCP gets you a free license for VMware Workstation 7 (your choice of Windows or Linux), while I await my welcome kit, I've gone ahead and installed WS 7 in evaluation mode.
My laptop now also runs OpenBSD, ReactOS, and Haiku. Mostly the last two are just toys but OpenBSD will actually be useful to gain some new skills -- I have practically zero *BSD internals knowledge so e.g. kernel compilation will be a learning experience.
(Booting OpenBSD to X and getting fvwm -- not '95, the original -- really took me back.)
