Just some Community stuff
Hello all! I'm so glad every one is here! It makes my heart feel warm. To Horus: Thank you so much for the lower entry! You really helped get the ball rolling and I don't know what I'd do without you. *Glomp Hugs*
Now as you all have noticed the community is still locked. That won't be the case once I get my feet under me and sort out everything I need to sort out. First We need a banner and I'm working on that. My sister is actually a professional artist and she has agreed to work something out with me. Though we keep going back and forth on weather we want something cute, funny, or sexy. *Sigh* Well we'll figure it out eventually.
Now once the community is unlocked everyone will see all of the stuff posted here (Yea!) but in regards to posting the unfinished/unbetated works I think those entries should then be marked as community only. I know it's a little odd to have a place were you can put up that kind of stuff but I really think for alot of us we need that. I know I do. So I'm gonna say that if you want to post something you're not really finished with yet to get ideas or critic, or if you have something you are ready to post but just don't have a beta, then those entries need to be community locked. I also really liked Horus' idea about indicating if you want critic and what specifically you wanted people to focus on. This is a wonderful idea and I say do it. :D If you want just general critic then say that too. Just speak your mind people, we won't jump down your throat. I'm pretty laid back so go with whatever you're thinking. I couldn't imagine banning someone unless they did something so atrocious I was getting complaints about them. Even then my first instinct would be to sit them down and figure out what's going on. I'm just to sweet to throw someone out. The only thing that will really get to me are senseless, rude and unhelpful flames. This is not a place to flam! If people are going to post unfinished stuff they need to feel safe. Unfinished means up perfect so there are going to be a few things off, that is why they are asking for help so be constructive and don't flam. Also don't feel like you have to comment on everything but if you are going to post and ask for help then please give feedback to others as well. All I ask is that you try to give and take equally. I won't be watching that close and I'm not going to throw someone out because of this unless it is blatant and rude.
Next I want to talk about the open form aspect of this comm. I really want a place were people can just sit down and talk about the beautiful characters of Kensei and Shuuhei. I think what I'll start doing is posting prompt questions every few weeks or so, haven't really worked out a time line, and people can just talk and discuss them. Hopeful it will be fun and serve to give people story ideas as well. Also if you have something specific you want to talk about feel free to post it. :D
This is NOT a fanfiction/fanart only community. I want you to post pretty much anything you have about Kensei and Shuuhei. Go bananas people. It's all good alright.
Also I will have to insist that anything 'adult' is locked to the community. I understand that in form discussion sometimes things can devolve that way and that's just how it goes. But if you are posting an adult specific peace then please make sure you lock it. I don't want to get this com shut down. If you work does disappear from here it isn't because I'm mad or upset at you, you probably just forgot to lock it or something. If you're confused about anything just ask me. I'm capable of making mistakes too and I promise not to bite your head off just for not understanding or having a question.
Finally just so you all are aware I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or OCD. If you don't know what that is please feel free to send me a message and I would be happy to talk to you about that. Now, that being said I would like you all to take a look at the tags on the left. Please use them. It helps keep my brain from hurting lol. I won't be pissed if you don't but I am asking that you do. If you want to use a tag that isn't there talk to me, I'll probably add it. Also if you don't know what some of the tags are supposed to mean, or you don't know which tags best fit what you are posting just ask me. :D We'll figure something out.
