I totally get Bronski Beat now. As a 20 year old living on my own all I knew was I loved the album and it spoke to my sense of isolation and pain not to mention defiance for being who I was.
Over on The Adams Report by JC Adams the post "Quotable: Pleasure Alone" contains this text:
