Ex-Pantera band member dead
Dimebag Abbot lead singer to the band Damageplan and former member of Pantera was gunned down yesterday along with 3 fans in Columbus Ohio by Nathan Gale who pushed his way into the consert up to the stage being chased by the bouncer and doorman.He was minutes later gunned down by a Police Officer responding to the call.
This happens exactly 24 years to the day that John Lennon was gunned down by a deranged fan for breaking up the Beetles band.It kinda justifys the need for gun laws in the states and my view that our country does have it better when it comes to safety with guns.
What is sad is that all the people that died during this consert were under the age of 40 and 2 of them were just there doing thier jobs(the lead singer and the bouncer).The cop shooting the gunman may have by killing him saved several more lives as he was gunned down while holding his gun to another fans head.
