The sky shines like diamonds
Like the tears the angels cry
Petals fall from the roses
As the moon rises to her peak.

That the bonds between us will n'er be broken
The glass in your mirror tells the truth
Our love, our hope is real.
The trees sway as the wind whispers past
Her sercrets go on forever
So much has happened to this place
Yet life still thrives and time goes on.
Our laugher fills the ocean
The black-blue that is the sea
The sky comes crashing into the waves
And you're never too sure where the world ends and heaven begins.
Love is a disease that infects us all
We are consumed by it like a cancer
Yet we search high and low for the one we need
But sometimes the one we want is just too long gone away.
Fate holds us close together
Though I still don't know the full truth
What life will bring is still a mystery
Yet sometimes it's better off that way.
Sleep now childern
The time for wakefulness is past
Let your dreams consume your soul
And your mind will take you to your own little world.
Shadows play on the time-weathered walls
Like the flowers dance in the rain
The spirits of the earth hold us safely
As the angels watch over us from above in the heavens.
We held each other close that night
Kissing under the star speckled sky
And we knew, everyone knew
That the love between us would never fade.
Whatever happened to the hate will remain to me a mystery
I can only see things so clearly until the wall between truth and lies divides them
Yet the hope that fills my mind, my heart, my soul will n'er end
And the light at the end of my tunnel will remain a dim speck until my time to leave has come.
