Those snappy comebacks...

When I was in middle school, one of the best comebacks my fellow classmates could come up with was, "Eat carpet and die." This stemmed from the twenty-five-year-old carpet in one of the classrooms that appeared to eat solid food whole.

Now, I've seen one that tops it by a mile-and-a-half:

"Keep your mouth shut and do your job or fall down a manhole."

Ah, progress...
