Hmm

The thursday show was pretty good. The palladium has a pretty shitty PA system though, couldn't make out much of the words. Anthony Green was ridiculous. Thursday and Circa did a trade-off. Geoff had some guest vocals during Circa's set while Anthony guest-starred on Understanding in a Car Crash, cute. Billy Talent was beyond terrible. Somehow, Rise Against played last for an hour fifteen. Fuckin' moshpit assholes. If there was a fire, we were all fucked, I was waiting to get trampled. But I must say, each band gave it their all during their sets. I just wish Thursday played longer whilst including Standing on the Edge of Summer, Ian Curtis, A Hole in the World, Steps Ascending, and War All the Time. They did however do Signals Over the Air and Jet Black New Year (which was unbelievable).

While cooling down from a research paper, I've spent an hour finetuning 6-8 probable schedules for next semester because I have nothing better to do at 3:30 AM besides sleeping. My parents and I reached an agreement that I'd shoot for UMass next fall. Funny as that sounds, the business program there is top ten in the nation (shocking, I know) and therefore pretty hard to transfer into. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than Providence and it's a lot closer to home. And I assume that there are less preppy motherfuckers. Of course, I've gone on and on for the past few months of how I'm going to Emerson. Well, that's changed. Hopefully I'll go through UMass's film studies program along with whatever I can teach myself about filmmaking and screenwriting. I should be pissed about it but it's just a different route. Not going to Emerson isn't the end of the world and it isn't the end of me wanting to make movies. Shit happens. We'll see where it takes me. I'm sure it has many pros over Providence and vice versa. If that fails, I'll end up at UConn. If that fails, who knows where I'll end up.
