the web is a smaller place now...

I remember years ago I had about 100 sites a day I had to read, to visit, to communicate with people, to roleplay, to enjoy conversation, to get the news and opinions, to do everything I wanted to do.

The web for me has shrunk... and after all the bills are paid and my fantasy football scores are read... Im done... and it is sad in a way.

There inst anymore excitement... the web inst a place to meet new people anymore and become friends with others half a world away. LJ is stale and my friends list is down to 2-3 people... I never really liked myspace or facebook. WBS, and the other RPG sites are dead and gone.

My web is very small now. And with all the information out there and the hundreds of millions of people who right now are at their keyboards typing and surfing... I don't have the time or the energy to reach out to them and spark a friendship.

Wow... I don't know if this is coming through clearly, but I know some of you out there can feel it with me.

Strange how something so big can become so small over time.
