Believe it or not I heard this joke from a Monsignor

A priest and a rabbi were hanging out one day just going about town and trying to learn things about each others' faith.  That night they went to a boxing match.  The boxers were introduced and touched gloves and then one boxer made the sign of the cross on himself in his corner.  The rabbi turned to the priest and said, "See what that man did just now?  What exactly does that mean?", to which the priest replied, "Absolutely nothing if he can't box."

Admittedly it's not a super knee slapper of a joke, but I like it just the same because of its take on religion.  If you can't do it yourself, don't expect somebody else to intervene on your behalf.  It seems almost TOO existential of a statement to have come from the mouth of a man of the cloth, but I guess it's just nice to see that there are people more learned about religion than I am that can espouse the same general views I have.  Sorry that all my entries recently have been all religious.  I'm not trying to convert people (HELL NO am I trying to do that), but it's just what's been on my mind recently.  It gives you a lot to puzzle over.
