When I started the chapter, I was convinced that Arizona would leave in the middle of the meeting, but she impressed me.
I think it's an interesting mentality that people perpetuate that if you're not suffering as much as someone else, your problems aren't valid. If someone else has lost an arm and a leg and you've only lost a leg, you've still lost and your loss is still valid.
Aw, thanks! Love the enthusiasm. :D They're both trying, as hard as it is. Callie's a trooper, especially through the really hard stuff. Glad you enjoyed it!
This was a lovely present to wake up to today, great chapter too.
I love the way you never seem obliged to rush your stories to a happy ending and yet manage not to fall into the trap of being repetitive or overly angsty. I like the realistic feeling of an 'onwards and upwards' but slow moving curve while always leaving open the possibility of nasty speed bumps along the way.
Which is my way of saying, ' thanks, now more please'!
It's definitely a slow burn, for sure. If I had more time, the chapters would be posted in much quicker order, so it probably wouldn't seem QUITE as slow as it does. But, I'm determined to do the story justice, so I'm glad you feel it's working so far. :) Thank you!
Almost finished with the next chapter. Hopefully will be up sometime late this week/next weekend, if all goes well.

Agreed about the loss. It's a hard mentality to break out of, I think. Arizona's going to have a rough time with it.
Thanks as always! :)
