The Summertime Blahs
Well it's been a long time since my last post. Graduation came and went. I'm a college graduate now. I feel like that should mean something, like people should tip their hats to me when I walk down the street. But they don't. Instead, I'm sitting at home with no job, though I have been actively applying for jobs.
Once again in school I couldn't wait to get out but now that the euphoria of getting my diploma has waned, I want to go back to school.
I will eventually get $40.00 for going to jury duty. I even got picked for voire dire though I wasn't picked to serve. Only two people in my group got picked. I'm glad I didn't get picked because it was a sex abuse case-a man molesting a girl for eight years (I found out how long afterward in the paper). He was found guilty. It was pretty cool to sit in the jury box and see Judge Aloi since he's always on in the paper and on the news.
Other than that, a college reunion, and some bowling with some people, it's been pretty boring here.
