the power went out here for several hours tonight.
luckily, sidney was kind enough to pick us up something to eat when she got off work.
all the groceries we got this weekend...and most of them are frozen.
hm.
i'm really hoping this isn't just a taste of what's to come further on this winter.
as we found out last year, i'm electric-dependent.
tycho thought it was fun to jump out at us in the dark, though.
that cat has bubbles for brains.
as a side:
i was joking around with george and spelling what i want to get tycho for christmas.
me: "for c-h-r-i-s-t-m-a-s, i want to get *nods in tycho's direction* some c-a-t-n-i-p b-u-b-b-l-e-s, okay?"
george: "for christmas...you...what?"
me: "i want to get *points at tycho* some c-a-t-n-i-p b-u-b-b-l-e-s."
george: "...huh?"
me: "c-a-t-n-i-p *picks up bottle of bubbles* b-u-b-b-l-e-s!"
george: "OH! catnip bubbles!"
tycho literally quit wrestling with his plastic bag and looked at george and then me.
