You know you're not really over your cold yet when you get home from work at 8, crash into bed and sleep until 7, and wake up still knackered. However, your brain may be warped by medication (or your current fandom) when you have a dream like *this*...

Alex Rider and his housekeeper/guardian Jack are turned into antelopes (neh, keine Okapis, aber ( Read more... )

You see why I had some sort of giggling breakdown at the Okapi? :)

And it's much better now, thanks!

The Okapi - I meant to ask: What personal connection do you have to an okapi?

J had it from Douglas Adams Hitchhiker somehow. Dunno the direct quote :)

Glad you're better!

Mademoiselle, I know nothing about Alex Ryder, but if you don't write it, I will send the Lieutenant (my bad guy from coming Anastasio Attanasio fics) to beat you up.

Um.. so Alex = antelope = Bambi?
Or is it Alex = antelope + Yassen the hunter = slash!

How does your dream logic work?^_^

Bambi is *too* cute. Antelope!Alex is cute but not that much ;).

The second scenario would end in bestiality, I fear, which is still one of the hurdles I've not quite managed to hop across ;). Werewolves aside...

I don't even think about interrogating my dream logic... that way lies madness ;).

You mean you're not going to write it yourself? The original (crack, heh) transfiguration by sorceress sounds fine. There's a wonderful logic to it. Might one of them dream this in the course of a real investigation? And find evidence for some sort of truth to it after waking?

It had the... feeling of straightforward literary crack/humour of sorts, and I'm not at all good with that...
