Fates willing, Emily and I will be adopting a kitten tomorrow. That means we need a name for the cat

Hermes is an interesting idea (and wouldn't be our first gender-bent name; Bast was a boy). For Loki, see above. It's right below Kali on the Inadvisable Name List!

This is a good point. Also of travelers, which is not one looks for in a cat!

I wouldn't say that. It's good to have a god of travel at home to hold down the fort when you go away on trips.
