great music coming you way

Hey all you folks in: Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, Ann Arbor, Chicago, St. Louis, Denver, and the Pacific NW

There's all kinds of great music heading your way. I'm particularly thinking of Amy Steinberg, Rachael Sage, and S. J. Tucker. I highly recommend all of these stunning musicians. (And I especially recommend all of them to malanai.)

Uhm, let's get Sooj in Fayetteville AR!!!!! The house concerts in town go on at Mike Sharkey's place. :) Work your magic! And you come too! :)

Well, I have a couple thoughts about that...

1) It looks like I'll be helping out at the Grove for WitchCamp! Will you take me home with you after? (I should call you about this...)

2) Sooj is playing KC on Wed 6/18 and Woodward OK on Saturday June 21. I wonder about about a Friday night concert in Fayetteville. I probably couldn't stay that long in F'ville, but maybe we could go up to KC for that show together?

How's some of that sound to you?

You know, my summer plans have been so vague until today that I think I was missing the delightful splandering of itinerary formation.

Hmm so you would come home with us and say until when exactly? How would you get all the way back to Ohio? Fill in the blanks for me. Maybe send me an email. I'm not going to be around for phone calls tonight.

just a note: turns out it's Mike Shirkey, not Sharkey.

Hey Ken!! I've been meaning to get back to you on this, but I'm a bit scattered at the moment (and all the moments of the past month, it seems). It looks like I *can't* go with you on the 3rd after all, as I'm scheduled to close at work. I'm going to Wisconsin later in the month, thus I've used up all of my requests and puppy eyes for a while, so I had to wait to see how they scheduled before getting back to you.

And Indiana Jones!! The 22nd is a Thursday, yes? Again, I will have to use the wait-and-see method on that too. I'm leaving for Wisconsin the following Saturday, so I know I won't magically get the day off, but there's some hope that I'll be scheduled for an early shift (they know how excited I am to see that movie, so with any luck they'll take that into account).

Also, weren't you looking for copies of Maus I and II? Do you still need them? We just got a really pretty box set in, and I've set it back on my stash just in case you needed it. It's only $14 for both books, and they're in great shape. Let me know ( ... )

hello dear =)

sooo... the 3rd is out -- how about Sooj concert in Dayton on Wed the 7th? is that a possibility?

and, yes -- Indiana Jones on the 22nd. i'm planning on it, and looking forward to it.

and, yes yes! Maus I&II for $14 all-told is exactly the sort of price I'm looking for. Fates willing I'll have a university credit card soon and can come purchase them through that means. If you can hang onto them for me, that would be great. (I forget which store you're at -- are you up by the dollar theatre on... oh, shoot... Bethel?) We'll figure out the when/where eventually.

Thank you so much!

*joys and hugs and love, and rather missing you*

I don't know yet if I'm working on Wednesday, but honestly, with gas prices as they are, I don't think I can afford to go all the way to Dayton right now. >_< I feel guilty just going to the zoo across town these days.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the 22nd, though. ^______^

And as for the graphic novels, I'll hold them for as long as you need me to. (yes, I work at the one on Bethel - nice memory!!) I'm looking forward to seeing you!

Hey sweetie =)

Thanks for holding the books -- if I come 'round next Thursday afternoon, would I likely find you at the Bethel store?

Also: if there's a car or two coming from Columbus for Sooj's show, would you and/or Lisa be interested in hitching a ride next Wednesday? I think there'll be at least one care coming this way.
