BEST's Part
1. First menu that you make self?
Daiki: When I have been in first grade of junior high school, I start to make toast. Eventually I like to add topping like ham and medamayaki (note: sunny-side-up fried eggs)
Takaki: Natto (note: fermented-soy beans) Pasta. If still the fragrance not out, so I will add various glavor to bringing out the taste.
Inoo: When I was been in third grade of senior high school, the things that I do when I have leisure time is I search the way to make Carbonara (note: a kind of Pasta) in internet. But It’s really impressed when I success to make delicious food (laugh)!
Hikaru: Scrambled Eggs. When I’m in elementary school, if I feel hungry, I will make it. BasiIcaly, I like cooking, then I feel happy when I have to cook every week in [School Kakumei]
Yabu: When I have been in kindergarten, I make delicious potato chips salad yo!
2. Tell about favorite cuisine in home!
Daiki: Pork Kimchi!
Takaki: I like all of my mother’s cuisine (kenken: so sweet of you, same like me...)! Especially, if I can choose, of course it’s hamburger. I know it is not special cuisine with normal way to cook, but it’s really delicious. Because it cuisine is full with love.
Inoo: Curry. Every 2 weeks, we always eat it once.
Hikaru: My mother’s seafood is really delicious! I think because my mother always buy fresh fish meat, it makes her cuisines are delicious. Boiled fish or anything, all of her cuisine is delicious yo!
Yabu: Boiled fish in my home is really delicious! The broth and flavor is really permeate to fish, I feel syrupy. Although its kept for 2 days or 3 days, the taste is still delicious ne.
3. Latest food that you eat, which the most delicious food?
Daiki: When I eat together with my friend in Japanese style pasta restaurant, spaghetti is delicious! The name is “Spaghetti with sesame sauce of pork shabu (note: it took from shabu-shabu)”.
Takaki: Takoyaki (note: octopus dumplings). Because I enjoy to eat it with everyone, I feel it’s more delicious ne.
Inoo: Eat hamburger in home.
Hikaru: I eat [ホエー豚] (note: I think easier if you see the photo: http://art2.photozou.jp/pub/194/201194/photo/15653027.jpg, it’s pork..) in TV program recording.
Yabu: When I eat together with my friends in ramen restaurant, I eat Tamago Kakegohan (note: egg sauce over rice). It gives me different feeling. (note don’t sure about last line)
4. For winter saucepan, the menu that you can’t miss it?
Daiki: Of course it’s meat, right? Pork meat!
Takaki: Motsunabe (note: Chinese Cabbage Saucepan, more about motsunabe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motsunabe with miso’s (note: bean paste) flavor.
Inoo: Motsunabe!
Hikaru: Motsunabe. If mix with kimchi (note: Korean salad) together, it will be good na~.
Yabu: Because I like spicy food so I choose Chigenabe (more about Chigenabe: http://blue_moon.typepad.com/blue_lotus/2006/11/1127_dinner_chi.html). And then I don’t want fail to add tsukune (note: chicken or fish meatloaf made with egg)
5. If you like a girl, what menu that you want her to make it?
Daiki: Omelette. If there’s a message with ketchup there, it will be happy ne! (note: it’s like you draw heart or word “Suki” in top of omelette with ketchup)
Takaki: First, maybe it will hamburger na. Because you have to take cooking course first (laugh). If you have skillfully in cooking, and can make various things that I request to you, I will feel happy ne.
Inoo: Because I like Chicken Rice, if you make it for me, I will feel happy yo. I request big chicken meat ne (laugh).
Hikaru: Chocolate Chip Cake. And then if you put that in cute box and give ribbon, I will really happy.
Yabu: Cream Stew. And choose large ingredients for me ©
6. If you have a girl that you like, what menu that you make to give to her?
Daiki: Yakisoba (note: fried soba) and Okonomiyaki (note: Japanese pizza)! I want you to see different beautiful place (note: he means because yakisoba and okonomiyaki comes from 2 regions that different)! But I’m still can’t cook it (laugh). now, because I’m still can’t cook it, so that I will practice to make it ne.
Takaki; At Barbeque, I will cook all for you.
Inoo: Hmm…I just can cook Carbonara na~ (laugh). Then, although my cooking skill is not too good but Meat udon is OK yo. I will cook the soup (note: for meat udon) by myself too!
Hikaru: I want to make Sweets. Although I never make it by myself but I will use milk and eggs as ingredients, I want to make pudding or tiramisu, I will do my best.
Yabu: Chicken Katsu. I never cook it but I want t make it (laugh). I will make salad too yo. In my mind, “Potato Chips Salad”, what do you think? (kenken: hey girl, you become his experiment to try his food..XD)
7. at first date, what cuisine that you and your girl want to eat?
Daiki: Because I think we can’t eat if we feel nervous each other, so food that don’t make you feel worry is good ne (note: he means if you don’t like his cuisine, it’s really uncomfortable to eat). What food which girl wants to eat ne? Maybe it’s elegant pasta~?
Takaki: if I have adult girl as my companion, maybe it’s Italian pasta. If the girl is younger than me, I want to go eat yakiniku together!
Inoo: Hotpot is good na. In order to make you happy, I will pick up the ingredients and then give it to you (laugh) (note: I don’t sure about this, but I think he means to act like “Man”, pick up the food and feed you)
Hikaru: I want eat 3 ice creams with you. We ask different taste so we can join eat together (note: exchange ice cream), and then if there’s ice cream in our nose unconsciously, we will laugh together happily ne.
Yabu: Hamburger. Not fastfood, we go to specialist restaurant. My date have image like that ne. it’s like we can become understand each other. (note: don’t sure about last line)
8. The things that you want to add in homemade bento?
Daiki: Tamagoyaki (note: fried eggs). Sweet tamagoyaki is good. Because I feel it’s “handmade” the most.
Takaki: Octopus Sausage. Maybe it’s like child taste but octopus sausage is really makes me happy!
Inoo: Of course white rice! Because I like meat, the ingredients is pork meat or chicken meat.
Hikaru: Octopus Sausage and Apple’s skin. Octopus Sausage or Apple’s skin or rice with face there! (note: he means about rice which you form a cute face there with sausage or other ingredients on top of that)
Yabu: Meatball! Then, if there are rolled scrambled eggs, I feel happy ne!
9. If today is the last day of the earth, what food that you want to eat?
Daiki: Of course I want to eat my mother’s cuisine, Rice with Pork Kimchi. In the last, if I can feel family taste, it will be happy yo. (kenken: Ahh..I want to cry…)
Takaki: In the last day, it’s fine if I don’t eat. Because I just want to gather with my family together, so all food I think it’s fine. Togetherness is more important than any food. (kenken: why you make me to cry again…??XD)
Inoo: I want to eat my home’s curry!
Hikaru: Chocolate Croissant!
Yabu: Tamago Kakegohan.
10. What miso soup’s ingredients that you like?
Daiki: Eggs, seaweed, and tofu (note: bean curd).
Takaki: Nameko (note: small, amber-brown mushroom with a slightly gelatinous coating). I like Tofu and simple green onion too. Although I like white miso, but red miso is really delicious yo. I eat red miso when I was been in outside, and if I was been in home, I eat white miso.
Inoo: Tofu and fried tofu, or pork miso soup!
Hikaru: I like miso soup with full of seaweed. In my birthplace in Sendai, there’s “Sendai Miso”, it’s really delicious yo.
Yabu: Nameko
11. Which Yakizakana (note: grilled fish) that you like?
Daiki: Smelt! It’s really easy to eat, so I can eat as many as possible yo. Usualy, I eat from head and then a whole body. (kenken: somehow, last line makes me scare…XD)
Takaki: Shiosaba (note: mackerel with salt). From childhood, I like shiosaba the most than meat or anything,
Inoo: Eat Shiosaba with Japanese white radish is super delicious!
Hikaru: of course, the best for fall season is pike. I like hokke (note: Arabesque greenling, a kind of fish) too. If there’s hokke, I can eat rice more yo!
Yabu: I confuse na~. Hmm…maybe it’s pike na. If eat it with Japanese white radish and soy sauce, it’s really good. Because I don’t realize small bones (laugh), so I eat it greedily yo.
12. Which dessert that you like?
Daiki: Chocolate or Vanilla soft cream!
Takaki: Ice cream with apricot tofu.
Inoo: Strawberry, Kyouhou (note: gigantic peak?), nashi (Japanese pear)
Hikaru: Chocolate Croissant! I really like croissant, but if there’s chocolate inside it, I really really really like it ne. And then I like Chocolate Banana Ice too.
Yabu: Kyounintofu (note: apricot tofu).
13. Which sandwich that you like?
Daiki: Eggs, Salad, and Ham Sandwich
Takaki: Tunamayo (note: tuna with mayonnaise)
Inoo: I don’t too like bread yo! (laugh)
Hikaru: Tomato, ham, and cucumber
Yabu: Lettuce, Ham, and Cheese. Then, I like sea chicken too. Usually, because mayonnaise added to chicken sea with vegetables, it’s really good.
14. Which ingredients of oden (note: Japanese hodgepodge) that you like?
Daiki: Chikuwa (note: tube-shaped fish-paste cake). From childhood, I have been like it. When I eat Oden, I certainly will add it!
Takaki: Japanese white radish and Octopus
Inoo: Chikuwabu (note: flour paste cake in the form of a tube). When I’m in childhood, I don’t like it, but since I’m in junior high school, I start to like it yo.
Hikaru: Hanpen (note: pounded fish cake)
Yabu: Hanpen! I really like hanpen to become my blanket when I sleep (laugh)! (kenken: weird…XD)
15. Cooking is….. Please fill the blank!
Daiki: Cooking is need creativity! A person has to make a various cuisine, right? That is really cool! It surely passed many failures to create a new menu yo.
Takaki: Cooking is Cupid (note: Love God). When you eat together, you feel love’s sprout. I think a girl who be able to cook is fantastic.
Inoo: Cooking is a purpose in life! Because I like to eat. You become healthy and happy with eat.
Hikaru: Cooking is body electrification (kenken: what’s that??!!XD oh maybe cooking makes him feel really excited..XD)! Eat makes me feel healthy, I really like it. Because it slowly makes heart feel electric, I invite many my friends to eat together with me yo.
Yabu: Cooking breaks the success!!! (note: don’t sure about this)

Daiki: Small trip before graduation.
I went to amusement park with my boy friend in school! Obake Yashiki (note: haunted house) is big no no, so before enter it, I pretend to go to toilet (laugh).
Takaki: Full Improvisation!
I feel happy to go to movie cinema together with my friend. Then, everyone see something that really interesting. But I’m still charging my camera.
Inoo: Holiday may be blurred
University summer’s holiday was finished, but I feel it’s not good because school’s holiday is longer, so that I feel worry (laugh)! (note: maybe he feel worry because he is not used to with university?)
Hikaru: Watching movie while eat hotdog!
Because the drama had finished so I can watch movie. I like darkness in movie theatre because I can concentrate my mind to watch.
Yabu: Talk about future!
I was come to my elementary school friend’s house. Then I will said, “Let’s chat today!”, if he has woke up in the morning (laugh)!
