FOR THE HORDE

Aww yeah nigguh check these bosses

So, with FFXIV turning into a cesspool of unplayability on my PC, a huge delay for PS3, and basically every person I planned to play with (and most of the community) abandoning it in droves, I was a bit lost for what to do since I was considering getting in some MMO time with friends.

Then I saw the Cataclysm vid, and honestly I got...nostalgic.

So, bringing it up with a few people, there's about 5 of us so far heavily considering returning / starting up WoW again. Carter, Giles, Nurlock, Elly, and myself so far (enough, at the least, to make a good, workable party) and anyone else we can maybe recruit (HH? Dave?). It also really helps that my favorite race, Troll, will now be able to roll Warlock, which I always felt would be an awesome fit.

I haven't rolled in Azeroth for a while and it'll be pretty great to see the new changes, but I'm actually excited about playing with a relatively stable crew of people, and at the very least getting to probably explore areas without having to worry about all the people I know being lvl 80. And, honestly, WoW has a pretty insufferable 'public,' but the core game is really pretty fun and has good immersion, plus, unlike both FFXI and XIV, you can make actual progress without being dicked in the ass by daily ratios or slow as balls EXP gain.

So, fuck yeah. Cataclysm looks great, finally get to roll Warlock, Goblins are playable, and it's gonna be Horde time in the big city come December.
