Clever Title
Haven't written much in a while. Feeling overwhelmed with life atm - just "same shit different day" kinda stuff. So I figure I'll write until something happens.
Some recent manicures:
Magenta with white crackle
Hot pink with glitter accent nails - I went through a phase with glitter, not pictured is black with Sally Hansen Ice Queen on all nails, teal with teal glitter accents, and blue with blue accent nails
Silver rainbow leopard print
Neon orange toes
French mani with accents
Neon pink
Nautical nails (current)
Duluth flooded recently. For those of you who don't know the Duluth area, Duluth is built on the edge of Lake Superior. The west side of the city is built on a giant hill that was created by erosion from Lake Superior receding. It's a pretty cool place. It rained a hell of a lot and all the water went downhill, washing away the dirt underneath roads and creating sinkholes, destroying bridges, etc. No one was killed or even seriously hurt (thank goodness) but some animals escaped the zoo and a lot of animals drowned. The rain hit fast and hard and they couldn't get the animals out fast enough. =C Here's a link to the google image search to see some of the damage. (If that didn't work, just google "duluth flood".)
The storm drains at the bottom of the hill filled up so fast that the TOP OF THE HILL started flooding. Then this happened. Leave it to Minnesotans to find something good in something so awful.

Laptop is working gloriously. That's nice.
Been doing this yoga video lately. It's super easy and it helps a lot with my aches. Plus it's nice to take 20 minutes for myself. I'm hoping when I get really good at it I can start learning the sun salutation. It's usually used for warm-ups in yoga classes but last time I tried to do it I almost hurt myself. It's supposed to be done fairly quickly, with each inhale and exhale and then you do it half a dozen times and I just can't yet.
Spent most of the weekend watching the Mario Marathon. As of right now they're 2/3rds of the way through SMB3. It's good. =3
If you go to Hoodie Allen's facebook, you can see a video of a sneak-peek of a new song. The funniest comment I ever seen was under the video that said "Hoodie's got dem nigga lips." I don't know if that's what I would call them, but they are very nice. His smile makes me giggle. And the song is good too. Stupid schoolgirl crush.
Other schoolgirl crushes include Toby Turner (that's a photoset, there's a tiny little arrow pointing right), Christian Ponder, and Robert Downey, Jr.
Yeah, that feels better.
