Soooooooo........
Sometimes I think there must be a terrible joke...I mean why would someone invent a week with seven days and then have five of them be for work? That is just awful. And now no one can really change it. Like any other custom, it is just expected as a cultural norm.
Anyway, I am working seven out of the seven days. Call me an out of the box girl.
However, my job at the theater is really cool. Now I know why I wanted to work in theater. It is like falling in love everytime I see a new show. Although, some theater is like a bad date-where it is best to leave at intermission. But, even the strange ones have their value.
Hoping to go to Spain in the late spring/early summer. I'll just have to work a bit harder to earn some more cash. I bought a lottery ticket today, you'll never guess what happened: I lost.
I was going to watch one of my rented Spanish films, when I turned it on my roomate had put in "must love dogs". I watched that instead (with Spanish subtitles, though). I can't stand the way that romantic comedies make me feel, I think they call it "uplifted" or something, but it is pathetic, sick, and I love it. Love/hate?
