Adventures...
Lately there have been so many laughs! Honestly, my stomach is killing.
Wednesday night at Lacrosse with Ffion was awesome! The legs were intensely gorgeous, and the violence was superb! We were in the front row, right where all the fights were breaking out! Ffion took TONS of photos, which she will hopefully post soon! Definately getting Shamrocks (maybe Junior) seasons passes for next year or joining a team!
Thursday school ended! Just went and picked up my report card. Finished with 86% and now Socials 11 is OVER! Got my picture for the Bay taken, which I'm sure I was making some stupid face in. I hate pictures, love the funny ones though! I met Caitlin, and we shopped till we almost dropped! Honestly, no joke. 6hrs. I think that is a new record for me! I got a bathing suit for $30! Found the most amazing skirt in Heart's Content, actually a swing skirt! So many sales, not enough money!
Saltspring, my home, was where I was Friday! I love that Island, I wish I grew up there! Meredith, Caitlin, and I headed over on the 9am ferry, which we almost missed and met Shannon on the other side! We went to Saint Mary's Lake and paddleboated, canoed, swam, and got to know each other better! They really got to know me. Just thinking about that day cracks me up, so many laughs, camping girls? Came home on the 2pm ferry, which we almost missed. I had to work, which actually did go quite well! Scary, but no one got mad at me!
Today I volunteered at the Government House picnic with all the Bay folks! It was so fun, although I'm kinda sore now! We were all in the Youth Zone area helping the kids! They gave us a HUGE hot lunch, and desserts! After most of the kids had left we all played on the large jumping castle obsticle course! I was racing one of the guys, and jumped off the end-landed on him, then the ground on my hip and head! Wow, I always manage to injure myself the most bizarre ways!
Tomorrow is Symphony Splash volunteering with the Bay folks again! Looking forward to that!
