Penticton and Memories...
Once again, I haven't posted in a while. As usual, I will try keep it short n sweet!
On Thursday last week, I escaped off to Penticton for the weekend! It was an enjoyable weekend, and my sister soccer team did well! I swam, swam, swam..and ate!
Got out of Summer School early and travelled over with Jenny Chu and her family. Highlight of that: eating like a pigg at the buffet and sleeping 3 out of 5 hours in the car!
Friday, I took a dip in the pool and then went and watched the first soccer game. They lost, it was brutable. Went to Timmy Ho's for lunch, and then went for another swim! Second game was much much better, but the parents are so intense. After the day of spectating, I went to the lake with Kaitlin and her family. Okanagan Lake is amazing, with small waves, sand, and warm water! Of course when we returned to the hotel we went for a swim in the pool! Kaitlin, Eric, and I ordered delicious pizza and played cards for the evening!
Saturday, I was forced to do homework in the morning and between the games. I did watch the 2 games, which were both really good! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so great, but my nose was so burnt from Friday so it was ok! During the evening there was a BBQ for the team and families. Me and some others watched TV, played cards, and ate before getting invaded by the team. Those girls are insane! I was determined to take a swim, but we had to be in our rooms by 10:30pm with lights out, so I snuck out with my bathing suit and went for a quick dip. It was so nice, but so cold.
Sunday, one game in the morning, which resulted in the team winning the GOLD medal! It was a touching moment. The rest of the day was spent in the car, with me feeling rather rather sick! It was 5 and a half hours in the car, with only bathroom breaks, NO food. Finally, we arrived at the ferry in time for the 8pm sailing, but the boat was having technical difficulties. Arg, I got home at about 11pm with homework to do and school the next morning at 8am!
That was my weekend in Penticton, such a condensed version, with many stories left out! I am determined to go back soon! Then I will swim, swim, swim..and eat!
Memory: I found my France Trip Journal, and Maxime's autograph. It brought back so many amazing memories, and the good times! The journal has unique memories each day, so wonderful I can't discribe! Everytime I look at the autograph, I laugh at what a fool I was, but also remember how confident as I approached like the hottest guy on earth! It made my day, and remembering all the people, I almost started to cry!
Wow, this has been a LONG post! School tomorrow, and homework to still do! Peace.
