It's been a while since I've posted so this one could be a long and boring one. Not that the others are all that exciting!
Florence, my french student arrived on my birthday. She's really nice, and for my birthday she brought me Christian Dior perfum and a HUGE jar of NUTELLA (personal favorite)We get along well, but really don't have much in common. I think she thinks I'm a little strange, but I can see why!
Last week was spent entertaining Florence. Matticks Farm, Mayfair, Saltspring, Chemainus, all over Oak Bay and many other touristy places! Really, it makes me want to leave Victoria more than ever! Slightly sad, but I do LOVE Saltspring, especially the people!
Yesterday we went downtown, watched all the buskers in the inner harbour, enjoyable day, so silent. Walked all over downtown, and Chinatown! I bought White Rabbits, and they are almost gone now! Downtown Victoria is so tiny, and I think Florence was quite surprised coming from Paris!
Then the evening, the evening, an unfortgetable night. Johnny Clegg Concert, absolutely amazing. In my opinion, to good to describe! He was just as amazing as he is on CDS, which made me a happy camper. No one was exactly dancing, but the last couple songs I let loose, and danced like no one was watching! Luckily, I was at the back! It was so awesome, and now I'm determined to learn Zulu, anyone in?
That was long, long, long. Today I have the day-off, so I'm off to the beach! I'll post again soon, but for now, I'm out!
