I was making salsa for a barbeque that will take place later today, and I had my food processor on the glass cutting board, next to the metal mixing bowl. When I turned off the processor, I heard dual tones resonating through the air.
How cool! I thought. I made a harmonic!
Then, I realized that it was the tornado sirens, again.
I checked the Weather Channel, and it showed something not very threatening-looking. My neighbor and I stood out front and watched the clouds move directly from south-to-north, and then looked at the radar, which showed them moving from west-to-east.
Then, the sirens came on, again, so we hung out in his living room, watching the hook echo pass a few miles to the north and east of us. The news anchors took calls from some storm spotters who were tracking a tornado on the ground, and we looked outside, again.
I really hope that this doesn't turn into a weekly event...
