Unimaginable...
Oh, Norway, my heart is breaking for you.
First the bombing in Oslo, then the massacre at the youth summer camp! I think it was the second that hit closer to home for me, as I spent so many years working at camps.
I can't even begin to imagine the situation! There are inherent risks that you assume when you send your children away to camp - twisted ankles, bumps and bruises, perhaps burns... the worst case scenario is usually drowning. How could anyone even imagine that some crazy psycho would show up dressed as a police officer (someone people would be inherently inclined to trust) and then whip out a machine gun and start cutting down anything that moves?
