Me = Defense
Ok, so our 5 on 5 teams have been decided and we've already had two exhibition games. For the first I established myself as a force on defense as a shot blocker by getting about 4 or 5 in 10 minutes. Two of those were on fast breaks (the other team with the fast break. I call these Tayshaun Blocks b/c T. Prince did one to Reggie Miller during a playoff game). Today I got about 2 or 3 blocks, as this team was less aggressive. Scored 3 shots, including the game winner (not that it was close...lol). Oh, and forgot to mention, we lost the first and won the second. Our Captain wasn't here for the first which is important b/c he's a key to our offense. I was soo not expecting to be the first option that game. Missed a few passes to me that I would have caught had I known. Aaaanyway the official tournament starts tomorrow, and I look forward to blocking some shots. The Zone defense we use likes me. ^_^
I've noticed that I'm usually the first one back on defense. A lot. Maybe that's b/c I always sprint back on d. meh, now back to calc study. Only a week and some days left for summer school. O.O
