Criminal Minds was actually pretty good last night. Kidnapping, testing, and killing women because he's lonely? Win. I love that Emily was the one to get the kiddo off the bus and then go play in her room. Emily with kids is always awsome. You know Hotch sent her because she'd still take care of business, even with the kid there. (See the suicide scene later, when she turns the kiddo around and covers her ears. Prentiss, don't ever stop being awesome.) Also, Rossi and Reid need more scenes together; the ditch scene was hilarious!
In other news, I'm still sick, I don't get to go to Austin this weekend due to finances, and Seeker is not new this weekend. All of this makes me go :(. See icon.
I did get the new Anne Bishop novel last weekend, though. Burned through it in two days, of course. It's fluffy fun. Good for those who know the series and 'verse well, not so much for a beginner. You really have to have an understanding of everything to get it; there isn't much exposition. As much as I like the happy ending, I think some of our favorites are a little OOC. But then again, maybe not so much. And then there's always the kindred Scelties to bring on the lols.
Work has been odd recently. Long periods of not much to do, then tons of things that need to happen yesterday. I suppose this is normal? I really have no clue. I'm not complaining, really. It gives me time I waste on LJ, mostly at sword_of_lies, which is also good for bringing on the lols.
