a young man ended his life over the past weekend. A young man that had so much potential and value... and so much sorrow.
If you know someone who's struggling, someone who is trying to slip quietly away thinking no one will notice or care...
Notice.
Care.
Let them know that they are valuable, that they matter. Even if they don't hear you (and as someone who's been there, often you Can't hear it at the time) at least you'll have tried. And they MIGHT hear you, they MIGHT understand that there are people who give a damn and who'll miss them if they're gone.
The sorrow is for those left behind with a hole in their lives once filled by a sweet, awkward, geeky young man with a shy, sweet smile and a love of Soviet Aircraft models, sci-fi, and the stars.
May you have finally found your peace, sweet, gentle soul. You will be missed.
