the Letter "A" and the number "14".
Apparently, today i am not a mouse... i am an aardvark.
::blink blink::
i woke up this morning singing "The Aardvark Song" from Sesame Street - and i have NO IDEA why. For those of you too young to remember this (apparently world changing) song it's here:
I'm an Aardvark Could be worse, could be the "Batty Bat" song i usually end up singing.
here In other news, if you like steampunk, kick ass female spy type characters, male archivists being pulled into trouble by said female spy type characters - you might enjoy "Phoenix Rising: A Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences novel" by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris. It was recommended to me by a friend and my comment after reading the back was, "You had me at 'bulletproof corsets and dynamite'."
So far it's been a fun read and the archivist reminds me so much of Ianto Jones (Torchwood) with a bit more cheek, Victorian sensibilities and a touch of "madboy science spark" thrown in - (Girl Genius term for a man with an almost innate skill for creation of science/machines that borders on madness at times). Books (the archivist) and Braun (the female spy) are a wonderful "odd couple" pair and i can't WAIT to see how things turn out in the end.
ANYway. Just a quick update on the state of the maus (or the aardvark as the case may be).
have a good one, y'all.
