Darkhaven's Re-Opening Date
If you've been reading along my LJ, you've seen that I've been diligently slaving away getting Darkhaven ready for its re-opening and making sure it's all stocked and pretty. (Do you know how hard it is to get dust a place the size of Darkhaven and to get bloodstains to look all 300-esque artistic on the walls of the Dungeon and get skulls to look shiny?!? Hard work I tell ya! *G*)
Back when Darkhaven first opened its doors to the D&D Fandom in 2000, a lot of the authors used their real names on their fanfics' bylines. Seeing as the internet has changed quite a bit since then, with the added fun of stalkers and identity theft, and that a lot may have happened in the lives of the authors since then, I want to give them a chance to respond to updating their Bios and maybe changing their real name to a nickname. I'll also be going through the site and checking links and making sure I have updated all the stories I can find as well as get the correct reading order.
Since I was going to give the authors about a month to get back to me before I post the link to Darkhaven for everyone to see, I figured the perfect day to re-open to the Fandom and public would be...
...Sept. 17th!
So for those not helping me beta-test, keep an eye out for when I post the link that day! :)
