Oh my God... We are soooooo screwed! So screwed. So screwed. So very, very screwed. We are having such a bad streak of luck that Joe and I are left stunned, blinking and going "Whatda Hell?!?"
-Joe's computer crapped out completely and needs a new hard drive to get it running again.
-My old pokey computer has been having issues and when it isn't freezing up to the point of uselessness, it's been running like cold molasses. Today's the first I've been able to get online where it's lasted long enough to do emails and stuff.
-Pugsley turned out to have cat cancer, and even though we spent all that money on surgery to have the tumor beneath his eye removed, because the vet didn't have an MRI machine to see where all the cancer cells were, he missed some and the tumor grew back.
-To have the tumor removed again, the right way with all the proper equipment, will cost around $3000. My poor, poor kitten! :(
-Joe's car had various kinds of car trouble and had to have work done on it to get it to run, then got hit by the person across the street not looking while they backed up. There went $900.
-Three days after we got Joe's car fixed (with some help from the insurance money we got from being hit) my car decided to crap out for good, to the point where it'd be better to try and buy an older used car instead of fixing everything that's wrong with mine. That'll be about $2000 + or so.
-I can't get a job until I get a car that will get me to a job.
-The townhouse hasn't had a single person come look at it, never mind make an offer.
-And to top it off, our savings is now gone and we don't have any extra money to pay off the mortgage as of Sept.
Oh, so frakkin' screwed.
What are we going to do? *sigh* I guess there's nothing to do but deal with it, hope that somehow, someway things will work out before long, and do as the Fieries say...
"So when things get too tough (get too tough)
And your chin is dragging on the ground (dragging on the ground)
And even down looks up (down looks up)
Bad luck heh heh...
...Chilly Down"
Yep, I need me some lotsa Chilly Down time before I go insane. And I'm not far from there to start with! *g*
