Well, as evidenced in this post, we DO have internet connection in the new apartment, afterall... just not in the den, where the computers are... At least we both have laptops, for the time being. Guess we need to figure out how to get the connection over to the den.  *grumbles* This couldn't have just been simple and easy, could it?

simple and easy? new internet connections?
pretty unlikely I'd think.
but at least you have internets, and laptops, and (assuming your den isnt in some sort of strange box suspended in mid air you can't connect wires to) connecting things would be more a case of logistics than anything?

Something similar happened to us, I seem to remember. I guess now the question is whether it's the building's wiring or the phone company (you have DSL, right?) that messed up.

Well, it's weird - turns out, we DO have connection in the den, its' just... "spotty." We can't get my computer connect, but can't tell if its my computer that's at fault (I'd likely bet it is), or something with the connection.

The experiments shall continue!
