Sorry I haven't posted in awhile - we've been awfully busy.
I am pleased to announce that we are now officially on ASIA's (our adoption agency) waiting list for a healthy infant from Taiwan! We are number six on the list, which is one better than we had anticipated :) This means we are through the homestudy phase (for now). We now get to sit back and wait...I'm guessing about three years, Chris is guessing three and a half. It depends on a lot of factors, though, including how many infants come available and how many people drop out of line (most people on the wait list were probably told the wait would be six months when they started, so they may not be willing to wait very long).
Now that we are more "official", I will announce that we also have an adoption blog that we'd like everyone to check out:

So far we've just been tracking all of our adoption steps, but going forward (during the long wait) I plan on posting things to help everyone learn more about Taiwan and about adoption in general. So please check the blog occasionally to become more educated on these topics, which I'm sure our baby will appreciate some day :) Also, I post there a lot more often than I post here, lol.
Thanks everyone for all of your help and support so far on this journey :)
