Taiwan Adoption
This may be news to some, and common knowledge to others, but Chris and I have always wanted to have two children: one biological, and one adopted. We have decided upon adopting from Taiwan (which, to put it simply, is basically a part of China). We love the culture, the people, and we meet all of the criteria for adoptive parents. Our overall plan is to start the adoption process (since it will take probably 3+ years to finally bring our baby home), and then have our biological child during the wait.
Our big news is.......we just filled out an application today for the Taiwan adoption :) This is a bit earlier than we had anticipated (and no, I'm not already pregnant or anything), but with wait times increasing we thought it would be prudent to go ahead and get our name on the waiting list. We are very excited!
