So this morning as we were leaving for work, the Saturn wouldn't start. It was parked in the garage all night, so it wasn't because it was super super cold (which it was outside). So we rode together in the Outback, and figured we'd try to start it again after work. After work, we tried again and again, and the damn thing won't start. It will try and try, but just won't start. So we fished out our road assistance card we've used before through Verizon, to see if they will come tow it somewhere. They told me that we don't have that feature anymore. Apparently when we had to renew our contract for our cell phone (because the old one, go figure, broke recently), they took that out and didn't tell us. I called Verizon and complained, and they went ahead and gave it back to us. By then it was getting late, so we're going to have to wait until tomorrow after work to get it towed.
After doing a little bit of research, etc. we are afraid it may be the fuel pump. If it is, it may not be worth fixing. We have spent too much money recently on the Saturn as is, and we have no reason to believe it won't need another major fix in another month or two. So we may be involuntarily shopping for a car in the near future....argh.
