The new Lara Croft photos. I saw them and did a happy dance, internally, while on vacation.
Why?
Because she is short. Because her torso is not some long sinewy highway between mouth and snatch with a decorative belly-button ring. Because the photos are not 'shopped to the point where she might as well be the rendered version. Because you can see the scar on her left knee and how her left eye does not get exactly the same light reflection as her right and how her nose is a little funny. She is real, and healthy, and even has some hint of self-reflection in some photos, being slightly bored and feeling slightly silly at the impracticality of some of the poses she's taken.
