6.270 is about to get really hosing, but I have really enjoyed just sort of hanging out during IAP so far. I think I talked to Kim for the better part of 8 hours yesterday, which was really, really good. I missed her a lot and need to make a point of seeing her more often, dammit.
I forgot how much this exercising thing felt good. I actually really like the ergometer (rowing machine), and running around the bridges. Infected Mushroom makes good workout music, somewhat surprisingly. My day-to-day health seems to be directly related to how well I take care of myself the day before, which makes sense, I guess, but I've never seen the correlation so strongly before.
I'm being proactive about the anxiety thing, and have found lots of support, in sometimes surprising places.
I might actually want an MPH, not an MD. Well, shit. It'll all come out right in the end. I'm sticking with this major, in any case.
6.270 is an annual autonomous robot competition held during IAP; the robots are built primarily out of Legos. This year's board and rules are kind of complicated; we have 2 teams on fifth east and are likely to combine powers and build our own replica of the board, so we can work on it instead of fighting for the original board in those last few days. I'm excited about building and even coding, but I bet we'll be debugging for an entire week before impounding.
