After seven and a half years of exceptionally dedicated service (ie starting in sixth grade), my plastic black glasses frame broke at the nosepiece this morning at approximately 11:30am. Over the years I have glanced over the selections at the eye doctor's office and at my local warehouse club, but no other frame quite measured up. They will be missed.
On the other hand, I'm also running low on contacts and haven't had my lenses replaced since May '05. Anybody know some good eye doctors in the area (if you know they take BCBS, that would be excellent as well).
