[It's been a couple of days since Genis had been returned, thankfully fairly unscathed, from his kidnap. But the lost days from the blank gap that was the weekend has left him kind of disoriented - so when he wakes up this morning and finds that he's kind of lost track of time and apparently forgotten a very important date...]

[Doesn't the kitchen have an exhaust fan or something. It totally should, if it doesn't. Also, Albert might find Genis trying to salvage whatever was in the oven. It looks sort of edible, maybe. Huh.]

[He would risk one, but maybe later. Right now he's busy sighing at the toasted cake on the table and opening a window to let the smoke out. Of course, that lets the cold in, and that does nothing to improve his mood.]
