Happy Halloween everyone!
I'm exhausted. What a long day. Our new front doors were installed this morning. Of course the installer cracked a piece of the door and has to come back and replace it next week. Fortunately it's an easy to take off part so it's not like the have to order a whole new door or anything. The doors look fantastic and it's amazing how much nicer the foyer looks with a little light from the windows in the doors. Of course the down side is that I now have to keep the foyer clean!
Mitch set a new record for himself Trick-or-Treating this year. He and Rick were gone for an hour and a half! Between tonight and the Trick-or-Treating he did at Rick's office Wednesday we have about three huge bowls worth of candy. I think we're set til next Easter!
The weather here was gorgeous today. High was right about 70. I sat out on the porch in my bare feet handing out candy. One little boy was a fantastic Frodo Baggins. He even had the feet. I was very jealous; I wanted those but they only made them
in kid's sizes.
On a strange note... The city of Royal Oak (where our old house is located) is holding their Mayoral election this year. One of the leading candidates is named Jim Ellison (sadly he looks nothing like RB). Almost makes me wish we still lived there so I could vote for him.
