we've got a track star, a shit stomper, and a sailor with us tonight....everyone drink up
so lately i have managed to keep myself incredibly busy. i've been trying to work as much as possible and still have a social life.
friday appalachian played for the national title and WON!! our boys were so great, i am so happy for them. winning a national championship game is such a huge accomplishment : )
saturday i worked all day and then went to jason frye's christmas party with anna, darcy & brittany. we didn't even get there until around midnight i think and by the time we got there darcy and i were both kinda drunk. i walked in the door and brandon cline was the first person i saw, so i immediately felt better because at least i knew one person. anna and i ended up letting jeremy pour shots for us all night long, and a flaming shot of 151 seriously almost killed me...not to mention darcy & i terrorizing everyone in jason's room haha. i made new friends with a couple of really cool girls, had some crazy conversations with darcy about carl, and ended up having a really good time.
today, however, i didn't feel so great. we got back at 5am and i woke up at 9:45...i ended up coming home and sleeping until 1, then working 3-6 only to come home and be disappointed that grey's anatomy was a rerun...go figure.
i have no holiday cheer. and i'm ok with that right now, because this will be a different christmas for my family, but hopefully different doesn't mean bad.
i talked to wes on the phone tonight for a long time, and i really enjoyed speaking with him. he's such a nice guy, we're trying to make some plans over the christmas break and hang out, so hopefully that will work out.
i guess i really should call ryan. at least to wish him a merry christmas.
i've got to get finished up with my christmas shopping, so i've designated tomorrow as my "spend a shit load of money and fight heinous crowd" day.
luckily i will have wonderful company : )
