Tom: What have you done to my mantle piece?
Fred: I've done nothing that could be considered unfit for any given mantle piece!
Tom: That depends on how you fit into your mantle piece!
Fred: Well that is just silly, fitting into a mantle piece is impossible.
Tom: Is that so? Well it just so happens my mantle piece has quite a large hole in it and sometimes I have picnics in it with loved ones.
Fred: That is impossible, your mantle piece is no larger than ten centimeters!
Tom: I believe it is you who is wrong my mantle piece is hundreds of centimeters at the least!
It turned out that Tom's mantle piece was an actual piece of the earth's mantle and was not related to the argument at all.
Fred later suggested that they should argue less about abstract topics and more about what they should argue about, Tom replied by saying no, which actually meant yes and hence prompted the start of the next argument, which argued about what they should argue about.
