Feb 1st is the start of a huge student competition for pdnedu. I'm entereing like four of five photos. The student show is coming up soon to.
So i found out that Kings Daughters Hospital is giving me a scholarship again, and they want to send me to New York to some artists conference where i'll be representing our state. Thats a little starnge, but i don't care, it may be a good opportunity. I'm going to find out all about it when i come to Madison this weekend. I also got nominated for the National Dean's List. Pretty sweet. I'm getting nominated for a lot of scholarships this year. I just hope i get them.
So for my art history class, we have to do a project on the theme of Gender. So, i'm going to do a photo essay on trans gender in Indiana. Like a Diane Arbus or Mapplethorpe kind of prospective. I just hope it turns out well.
